Chemistry: Kitchen Chemistry!

Activity

State (at least) three interesting ways in which chemistry is used in the kitchen.  For example:
  • when an egg is cooked, the protein in the egg white changes from colourless to white - hence the name!
Extension: what are 'E numbers' and how are they used?
